Dear friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) and Taiwan Alzheimer’s Disease Association (TADA), we cordially invite you to join the 28th Alzheimer’s Disease International Conference in Taipei from 17 to 20 April 2013.

It’s TADA’s great honour to receive colleagues and friends of Alzheimer Society from around the world, and to host the first global multidisciplinary conference on dementia in Taiwan. We expect the conference will be very exciting and very productive. We would exchange knowledge in earlier diagnosis and treatment, know-how of sufficient quality care and approaches to build a friendly community for patients with dementia (PWD). Changing in looking over difficulties in all levels of authorities and policy are also expected.
No matter you are scientists, researchers, healthcare professionals, or PWD and their family caregivers, we share the common goal: to improve the quality of life for PWD and their families throughout the world. With knowledge and inspiration, all of us together will bring changes to the world. The conference will empower us to fight over difficulties in every corner. In addition we will organize a special forum focusing on the caring and management of PWD in the Asian-Sino and other overseas Chinese to demonstrate problems and opportunities of these societies who are among the most rapid growing aging as well as dementia population.

A small country it is, Taiwan has 8 national parks and 13 national scenic areas well connected by a high speed rail and railway system. Taipei is a famous capital city for its culinary culture which attracts so many gourmets coming. Please join us at this fascinating event in 2013, and enjoy the beauty of Taiwan, the hospitality of Taiwanese.
